The fine print
Terms of Service
These terms are a binding agreement between you and Riff. By using the studio you agree to them.
Last updated: 2026-07-11
1. Who we are
Riff (the “Service”) is operated by Talrax(the “Company”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, the studio, and the API.
2. The Service
Riff turns one long-form input into platform-native posts for multiple social networks. Using the studio requires a free account; rewrites are produced with the help of a third-party AI provider, with a deterministic engine as a fallback. Paid plans unlock higher monthly limits.
You are responsible for the content you paste into the Service and for the posts you publish from its output. You must own or have the rights to that content, and you must not use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent rate limits and other technical safeguards.
- Do not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, deceptive, or that violates the rules of the platform you publish to.
- Automated or high-volume access requires our prior written consent.
4. Accounts and plans
Some features may require an account. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled and are subject to the credit allowances described on our pricing page. We may change plan features and pricing prospectively; material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
5. Billing and Merchant of Record
When paid plans are enabled, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited, which is the Merchant of Recordfor all orders. Paddle handles payment, billing enquiries, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.
6. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to the content you submit and to the output you generate. We retain all rights to the Service itself — its software, design, and brand. You grant us a limited licence to process your input solely to operate the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Generated output may contain errors and is not professional advice; you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
